For this milestone we focused mainly on integrating all of the parts of our project together. We aimed to combine the cleaner models, 360 videos, animated student models, and working conversations together. We have worked on cleaning up the models and getting rid of unnecessary meshes, finalized the conversations to be completely working, as well as rotate them to face the user and be more readable, and imported the animated students. We now have four working 360 videos and two animated students in within the Unity project.

Since our last milestone, we have made a few improvements. The 360 Videos have been imported into Unity in a more visually attractive way and now they start playing upon entering the room where they are placed. For this we wrote a custom shader that would only render the inside of a sphere inside unity. The video also is automatically synced up with audio when the user enters the sphere (otherwise the video will not play). We also got a second video into the scene now! We also now have a second conversation going with a student object in the game, and all of the conversation triggers and selection options are fully integrated. We also now have two characters rigged and animated that will soon be integrated into Unity. Using the Matterport, we have scanned all the hallways in the Dexter building (aside from the ROTC area) and rooms including the Capstone room and the gallery. We have simplified the meshes so the environment in Unity now looks a lot smoother. We look forward to further implementations to come!
